This blog is targeted at a few things.
1. I am going to educate potential customers, to let them know what can be expected from a cleaning contractor, what is acceptable, and what is not, and why something so simple is so expensive, when done properly.
2. I want contractors to have a resource for information and education, that is clear, concise and reliable.
3. I want to address things that are found on various forums that I want to be able to address in my own way, on my own terms.
As always, I am available for quotations in the Southwest for cleaning large areas of concrete, such as parking facilities, park areas, or plazas, all the while using environmental conscious methods.
My Qualifications.
1. In my prior career, I managed a dairy distribution department with 160 drivers. This included customer service, employee relations, and relations with the dairy.
2. I have been actively involved in the pressure washing industry since 1989. I have offered a variety of services in that time, including Fleet washing, Concrete cleaning, bus shelter maintenance, repair, and installation, and restroom cleaning. As amazing as it is to some people, as you look at what I have done, they are all interrelated.
3. I was the founding director of an organizational environmental committee. I left that committee because I did not agree with the purpose of the organization. I am now on the Environmental committee for the PWNA, Pressure Washers of North America, which is the largest pressure washing organization in the United States.
4. I developed the Hazardous materials management policies for a large, public electric utility, which at the time had 10,000 employees. Even though this plan was developed 20 years ago, just before I started power washing, the majority is still in place.
